L'Hôtel de la Dentelle in Brioude

Founded in 1986 by Odette Arpin, l’Hôtel de la Dentelle (HDLD) is a creative workshop, an accredited training center, a cultural space and a lace-making equipment boutique. Four lacemakers from the HDLD received the prestigious title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France (Best Worker in France) in Cluny lace, including its founder Mrs Arpin.

More than a hundred of contemporary creations of the HDLD are permanently exhibited in the cultural space. It hosts each year a new temporary exhibition, in addition to the collection of contemporary laces.

Thousands of disciples learned and perfectionated lacemaking with the training center, some of them as a part of a professional formation. The HDLD is certified by the label Qualiopy and is entitled to receive the CPF. It offers personalized and individualized courses. The HDLD and its team can also come into the home for group courses on requests.

The boutique offers all the lace material as well as our patterns and different works.
